Who We Are

Education for Change is a non-profit organization founded by a group of young Canadians who are committed to advancing awareness of genocide and crimes against humanity as a means of generating change. By educating fellow Canadians about these issues, we aim to equip individuals with the necessary tools to exercise their political rights and engage with historical issues in order to prevent future human rights violations.

Ongoing

We are currently recruiting facilitators for the Leadership Education Ambassadors: Darfur (LEAD) program that trains university & high school students to become educated speakers about the genocide in Darfur, Sudan. Our presentations are interactive and inspirational, and can be tailored to fit any elementary, junior high or high school curriculum. To book a speaker, or to become trained, please contact Caroline Cormier.
